Requirements Under the direction of a professional nurse, the Patient Care Technician (PCT) assists the patient with activities of daily living, transfer and mobility skills, skin, bowel and bladder programs, and maintains a clean, safe environment for the patient.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Good communication skills, computer skills, good time management and organizational skills, familiarity with patient care equipment; ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing, ability to transport objects, patients and equipment, ability to respond quickly to patient needs.Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent plus specialized training. Certification/Licensure: CNA and AHA CPR certification required. Experience: Entry Level Schedule: Monday-Friday (variable), 7:00 am-7:00 pm; 12 hour shifts; Weekend Frequency: work every other weekend; 72 hours per pay period.
