IS Sr. Business Analyst and SharePoint Specialist
The Information Services (IS) Sr Business Analyst and SharePoint Specialist is accountable for: developing and executing the project plan for large complex Rush projects or programs and delivering solutions from the application development team. Documenting project requirement, use-cases and delivery plans including detailed knowledge of how to accomplish solutions using collaborative tools like MS SharePoint. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Provides technical leadership by creating solutions for complex business problems. Responsible for business analysis, solution architecture and code development. Follows a strict SDLC process working in an Agile environment.
Coordinating work with customers and technical team to ensure that solutions meet the business needs and function as needed.
Technical expert in SharePoint and web development providing analysis and programming acting independently under high-level directions. Provides technical leadership on complex projects.
Balances needs for support, maintenance and administrative tasks with projects. Be independent and resourceful. Participates in strategic planning and department coordination. Must be able to develop work plans and workwith project team leadership to integrate these plans into larger project plans.
Maintains expert level of technical knowledge in SharePoint, C# and .NET development technologies.
Maintains technical knowledge in Java development technologies.
Works with the team lead to perform solution architecture by developing high quality solutions for Rush’s business problems.
Follows industry best practices and patterns in building application systems.
Has the ability to escalate and communicate system outages that may result in patient care impacts.
Keeps current with skills and research the software industry to help pave the way for future development strategies.
Liaisons with consultants or vendors to integrate new web products.
Performs Quality Assurance of applications developed as per industry standards to ensure successful implementation of the team’s SDLC process.
Position Qualifications Include:
Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must have at least 6 years of experience developing applications in SharePoint, .NET,C# and other web-based applications and acting as a technical leader in an enterprise environment
Technical expert in SharePoint and Microsoft Web-based technology
Must have at least 8 year of .Net development experience
Web Service development experience
Proven track record of coordinating and delivery of projects
Must be knowledgeable of application development practices and techniques
Must have be expertise in web development techniques and SharePoint practices.
Leadership experience that includes leading a team of developers and support resources
