Rush Copley Medical Center Nursing Administrative Supervisor in Aurora, Illinois

Position Summary: The Nursing Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of and support to all patient care teams and ancillary departments, especially in the absence of unit leader. Facilitates patient placement and coordination of care, crisis management resolution, and responds to Physician and Patient/Family needs. Ensures all regulatory and best practice standards are met. Is responsible for establishing and managing an ongoing relationship with the interdisciplinary team to facilitate a timely and integrated, and coordinated approach to care. The position models the Rush Copley Medical Center mission, vision and values, the Care Model, and acts in accordance with Rush Copley Medical Center and nursing policies and procedure.

Position Requirements:

  • Licensure: Must be licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of IL.

  • Education: Earned nursing degree at the baccalaureate level or higher required. Graduate degree preferred.

  • Certifications: CPR Required, ACLS

  • Special Skills: Communication, organization, customer and physician relations

  • Experience: 5 years nursing experience, leadership experience preferred
